It makes the most grown-up, whiskey-sweet banana split paired with vanilla ice cream, an overly generous drizzle of caramel, a sprinkle of our Madrona Smoked Sugar, and topped with a succulent Orasella cherry."
From the maker: “Our dry-burned caramel sauce has an incredibly deep flavor profile, combining notes of earthy nuttiness, slight bitter caramelization and a sweetness that isn’t too sweet. Finished with the perfect amount of sea salt to bring everything together into the best true caramel you may have had.
We add Old Overholt Rye Whiskey into our dry-burned caramel sauce... because, why not?! The rye gives this sauce a beautiful flavor making it perfect for ice cream, hot toddies, bread pudding, or waffles, to name a few.”
