Bacon & Hot Pop Game Day Dip

This was the dip that was GONE by the end of our dip photoshoot! Smoky from the bacon, rich from the sour cream and cream cheese, and unmistakably cheesy from the addition of both our Popcorn Blend & Hot Popcorn Blend (the magic of nutritional yeast and spices makes it taste sooo nutty and cheesy!). This recipe can also make an excellent cheese-less cheesy dip, with the substitution of nut sour cream and nut cream cheese in the place of the dairy. 

Pairs well with: potato chips, all veggies, or as a sandwich spread

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup whipped cream cheese (regular works great too, if you want a thick dip!)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream 
  • 2 T bacon bits, plus more for garnish
  • 1/2 shallot 
  • 1 clove minced garlic 
  • 1 T Hippy Gold Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 T San Juan Island Sea Salt Popcorn Blend
  • 1 T San Juan Island Sea Salt Hot Popcorn Blend
Adjust to taste. Want it spicier? More Hot Pop! Want it more mild? Add more Hippy Gold! The additional of the Hippy Gold and Popcorn blends is what makes it so cheesy and thick, so feel free to add as much as your taste buds can handle!
