Creamy Tomato Soup with Popcorn Blend

• 1 small onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 cans (14–15 oz each) crushed tomatoes
• 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth

• ¼ cup heavy cream (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat butter in a pot over medium heat.
2. Cook onion until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

5. Simmer 20 minutes.
6. Blend smooth if desired.
