About the Brand

The magical world of BonBon was founded in 2018 by friends Bobby, Leo and Selim to sweeten and revolutionize the US candy world; through a love for their homeland and its sweet and savory treats. On our journey since launching our Lower East Side retail location, community events and online efforts; we have become the bona fide destination for anyone with a sweet or savory tooth for Scandinavian treats.

About the Fish:

These fish are a vegan, gluten-free and naturally colored and flavored sour gummy made by a small factory in the south of Sweden. This is a fresh take on the classic Swedish Fish, perfect inside a Easter gifting basket.

Blackberry

Our Sour Blackberry Fish candy is a commemoration of the homemade jam we used to make with freshly picked blackberries from our summer gardens in Sweden. The blackberry jam is enjoyed over fall and winter with meat, mashed potatoes and gravy.

Sour Wild Strawberry

We spent 18 months of research and development to create, what is to our minds, the best gummy every produced. 

Coated in sour sugar, wild strawberry is the dominant aroma and it is complemented by a dash of sour raspberry for that extra kick!

Sour Elderflower

Our Sour Elderflower Fish are a tribute to the homemade cordial that was made from freshly picked flowers by our grandparents, during Sweden’s short summer months. The elderflower is one of BonBon’s four flavors of summer.

Sour Peach

The second member in our family of fish is the sour peach! With this flavor we set out to create a peach dominant gummy with a medium-chew, complemented by hints of fresh apricots.

The sour peach fish is actually an homage to our favorite American pie - the peach cobbler. The addition of apricot is a nod to our summers of youth, most of which were spent picking and eating apricots with Grandma in her garden.

Sweet Strawberry

Our Sweet Wild Strawberry Fish is the epitome of Swedish summers. So juicy and so sweet, these fish will transport you to a field of wild strawberries on a warm and breezy July afternoon. The wild strawberry is one of BonBon’s four flavors of summer!

Salty Licorice Twists

BonBon’s new Salty Licorice Twists pay homage to the cultural heritage of BonBon and their lifelong love for this unique candy. 
In Sweden, salty candy is considered as a culinary delicacy.

These Twists are a perfectly balanced depth of licorice flavor with a nuanced taste that ends with a soft salty finish. BonBon is finally opening a gateway into the black licorice candy category for the palate of the U.S market.
