Madrona Smoked Upper Left Honey

It was gone for a few years but now it's back and better than ever!

1 million flowers and 42,000  miles of collective bee flight went into the creation of this unique honey, now smoked over Madrona wood-the most beautiful and unique of the PNW's native trees. It pairs well with strong cheese, meats and even your coffee!

At San Juan Island Sea Salt we have fallen in love with harnessing the smoky goodness of our island's beautiful madrona trees. For this product we source honey from Northwest Washington beekeepers and after cool smoking it, the flavor is imbued with rich bonfire notes. At a crossroads between sweet and savory, it is equally suited for desserts, barbecues, roasting and maybe even breakfast.

This honey will crystallize. Don't fret. It is just a more mature form of this amazing substance.
