The Pacific Madrona (Arbutus menziesii) is a beautiful native tree that grows along the West coast on rocky slopes and in forest clearings. It's an exceptionally hard wood that is the perfect ingredient for cold smoking our salt over two days. Use this salt for adding depth of flavor to sauces, soups and for bringing the flavor of the BBQ inside.

This salt has been a game changer!! Fantastic on SO many foods - I especially love it on poultry, potatoes, chanterelles (!), and cruciferous veggies. HIGHLY recommended!
The smoked should be added when food is cooked or with your salad. Love it!
Great but expensive product. We use it on pork chops and steaks. A little goes a long way so lasts a long time.
